Stan's Story

Stan's Testemonial

Having a bad tattoo is the one of the worst things in the world. Six years ago I had a tattoo that needed to be covered up because it had my ex's name in it, if you know what I mean. I went to a tattoo artist that I trusted, he turned what should have been an easy tattoo to cover up into a nightmare. He never had an idea of what he wanted to do with it, he was just tattooing for hours at a time with no visions. After a while I felt like cutting my arm off. It truned out to be the worst cover up piece I had ever seen. After that I swore I would never get a tattoo again, but after all the negative feedback from people on how bad it looked.

I started searching for help. I looked from LA to Sealtle, and had no luck. I could find no one that felt they could help me with my tattoo because it was so bad. After it was all said and done, I had thrown away all my sleeveless shirts and tank tops in the trash because I would not ever let anyone see my arm because they would always ask the famous question "What is it?". The worst part of all is I love tattoos.

Luckily one night I was referred by a guy I met through a friend who had a cover up piece done at River City Tattoo, by someone named Pym. So I went down to give it a shot, in the back of my mind I knew it was probably a waste of time, but at this point I wanted my life back so what choice did I have? I went into Pym's shop anyway and talked to her. She looked at my tattoo for about twenty minutes and then our of her mouth she said, "I can help you."

Well, I owe Pym a lot of thanks for giving me my freedom back, and my left arm which I was ready to cut off. Just to share my experience with other and help them not make the mistake that I made, watch out for all the guys who say they can help you, look at their work closely and get a lot of referrals before you put anything on your body because it's forever.

Thanks Pym for everything!
